TEPEB: European certification for energy efficiency thecnitien

9.TEPEB-Poster-ANMascotte-TEPEB-HDThe fight against global warming, mobilization of renewable energy and energy efficiency are the main challenges for all countries; European policies sets targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions through renewable energy, energy efficiency; thus establishing a transition to a competitive, secure and sustainable energy system (Green Paper A framework for climate and energy policy in 2030).

Energy transition skills modify the evolution of technologies, such as the materials used. All sectors involved in the construction are affected by energy efficiency. And all this, must be reflected in the training of future professionals.

TEPEB “European Certified Professional for Energy Efficiency” is a project approved by the European Commission within ERASMUS + program for training, which involves France, Spain and Turkey and whose fundamental objective is to development a common European certification in the field of energy efficiency.

Spanish partners are FEMEVAL “Federación Empresarial Metalúrgica Valenciana”, the renewal energies company MONSOLAR INGENIEROS and the Architecture and Construction Engineering Department of the University of Girona.

From France GIPFIPAG(coordinator), GRETANORDISERE, SCHNEIDERELECTRIC,SYNDICATDESENERGIESRENOUVELABLE and Rhône-Alpes Eco-énergies Cluster.

From Turkey the vocational training school BEYKOZ LOJISTIK MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULU, engineering company TTE TECHNOLOGY TRADE & ENGINEERING and Teknikerler Birliği a Technicians Association. CENTRE POUR LE DÉVELOPPEMENT ET L’INNOVATION from Bulgaria as auditor.

This is a three years project (09/01/2014 to 31/08/2017), where this certification will be developed through common training modules according to the European system of equivalences and a 25% of the training will be online. 45 trainers and 150 workers of these sectors will be trained.
